She's Wearing New Shoes! Monday, May 12, 2008 - 8:56 AM Southern Gospel Music lost another great lady this past Sunday. None other than Dottie Rambo. It saddens me yet my heart rejoices as she is now in the presence of the Lord! She's Wearing New Shoes, as she now sings praises to the King, She's wearing a new gown of white, and her heart is at rest, no more tears, no more pain, but praising, and dancing, to the Lord that reigns, she's wearing new shoes, all her tears are wiped away. She brought joy to her Lord every day, pressing on till she reached the prize, forever remembered, I know our Lord said well done, as He took her hand, and said My child welcome home, your race is won. She's wearing new shoes, as she now sings praises to the King, She's wearing a new gown of white, and her heart is at rest, no more tears, no more pain, but praising, and dancing, to the Lord that reigns, she's wearing new shoes, All her tears are wiped away!
