A Sacrifice Of Praise

by Caroline Allen - 13:05 on 29 April 2008

This body of mine may grow weak, these eyes of mine, may grow dim, my hands might lose their strength, but as long as I am alive, I will bring a sacrifice of praise.  This body is dying daily, but my spirit is renewed every day, for the life of the risen Savior, gives me life, in every way.  Oh the Word says, we are but a vapor, fragile, like the dust of the ground, but every day, we have new beginnings, every day, He renews new strength, for His mercies are new every morning, the joy of the Lord, is my strength.  So as long as I can speak, as long as I can stand, I can offer up, a song of praise, to our Lord, the Great I Am, He's so mighty, my Rock, and my Fortress, it doesn't matter, nothing else matters, but our Lord.  As long as I have breath, as long as I have Him, I will offer the sacrifice of praise, from my lips!  Lisa Beth Jenkins Copyright 2008 All Rights Reserved
