John 20:29 says: Blessed are they that have not seen yet believed. How many times have we not seen what God said would be, and allowed ourselves to believe for a season, but somewhere along the lines we lost our faith to believe, and the dream or the vision just died in our hearts? We all know that if God says it... it's a done deal, but somehow we let the little foxes spoil the vine. We let apathy set in or we let the enemy come in and plant seeds of doubt. We begin to say well I have not seen it come to pass, so why should I keep hoping for something that's never gonna be? Over and over again we lament in our minds and start thinking well maybe I really didn't hear God say that, maybe it was just my own wishful thinking. But...God never lies! And God always provides! And God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. I wonder where we begin to lose our confidence in the Lord and our trust? Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. May we all believe what great things the Lord has promised for He is worthy of all our trust! May your new year be filled with confidence in the only One Who can meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen
