A Love Reunited

Two years ago my daughter Megan fell in love with this kitten she named Reese because of her color's she named her after Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...Yesterday the Lord brought her to my memory and as we were out driving back towards our home and I spoke her name out and no sooner had I spoken her name out I quickly said to Megan let's go to the humane shelter and see some "kitty's".  She looked at me like I was from another planet, and smiled and said, "ok" so we did go there, and we observed lots of full grown cats and one tiny kitten that had just been brought in as of that day. Megan was enthralled with this kitten of five weeks old and took it out and began petting it and loving on it. I thought it was cute but continued to look around at all the other cats. I noticed this one cat that was a calico cat and I kept looking at her  and I said out loud Megan that's Reese, but she just kept playing and loving on this one orphaned kitten. I finally got her attention and she put the kitten back in it's cage and walked over to where I was. It was so neat because she said at the time she was afraid to look and believe that what I was saying was true or not. She sat down on the floor and stuck her hand in the cage. Immediately this cat started playing with her by swatting her paw at Megan's hand. Then she did the funniest thing, she sat up on her hind legs and that's when Megan knew in her heart it was her beloved cat Reese! Today she is going back to the shelter to pick her up and bring her home. Isn't God so wonderful He reunites what we love and brings it home. And one day He will reunite what He loves and bring us home. I know that this will be the best Christmas for Megan will have back the very pet she loved and never stopped loving. God never stops loving us. Amen.  In this picture when Megan first got Reese I told her to name her Tobie so you will see on the photo it says Tobie instead of Reese. I am glad she is Reese and always will be in our hearts.
