The Sure Mercies Of God

It is only the sure mercies of God that sustain you, His grace, and unending love, for it is everlasting to everlasting, this precious, Holy One.  It is never our strength that gets us through, nor our might, but by His strength and power, for this, day, and every hour.  How great is His faithfulness, How wonderous are His ways, mighty is He, that performs His Word every day.  He stations angels all around us, lifts up a standard for our steps, and He leads us in the way of righteousness. Oh lift up your hands and praise Him, for all He's doing for you, and see that there's no enemy, nor weapon, that is fashioned against what we do. For when we stand in the power of His might, and we are covered with the armor of God, there is no evil that can harm us, when we stand on our faith, and promises of our Lord and Savior above, give Him praise for all He's done!  Lisa Beth Jenkins c.2007 All Rights Reserved
