Come Home

The old house is still standing but no one occupies this place, but a warmth and understanding of what once took place.

Many years of tears, and laughter, many fond memories,  but this house is now empty, but the light is still on, waiting for your return, waiting now, with open arms, there's no worries with the Father, for He knows, you are strong.

The place is swept clean, but there's an emptiness inside, and the Father's waiting so patiently, to fill with peace, and joy sublime.

Come on home to the Father, for He loves you tenderly, and His strength can be your strength, from now to eternity.

Yes, this place is still waiting for a warm fire on the hearth, and the Father's gently calling, let Me come, and fill your heart.
