WATSON, FREDERICK LUNDI / LUNDY

He was the son of James Watson and Janette Watson (nee Skirving).

My myheritage tree shows that : Frederick Lundy Watson was the father of Ellen Watson, 1st cousin 3 times removed, born in Ediburgh & died in "Glasgow" in 1909. Note that to those far afield, Glasgow is a general place description. Scotland's People note that he in fact died in Cardross.

There is even a "Skirving" connection through his mother whose maiden name was Skirving, although spelt Skerving in the Scotland's People source.

"Lundi" is sometimes spelt Lundie or even Lundy.

JAMES BIRKET WATSON - His father. Born in 1772 - KELSO ; died in 1844 - STIRLING.

JANET C.SKIRVING. His mother - born in 1780 - ABBEY PLACE, MELROSE. Died in 1849 - EDINBURGH. See MELROSE

ISABELLA ROSS. His wife. married in 1869 - EDINBURGH PARISH, EDINBURGH, MIDLOTHIAN

Siblings : GEORGE SKIRVINGTHOMAS BOSWELLCATHERINE GEORGINA and JAMES LAUDER. See WATSON THOMAS BOSWELL
Wife : ISABELLA ROSS
Children: CECILIA AGNESJANETTE SKIRVINGCATHERINE GORDONJAMES ARNAUDELLEN and MARY STEWART

Frederick Lundi Watson died in Cardross at the age of 86. There are many Watsons around Glasgow, Dumbarton and even Cardross which I don't suppose have any traceable link to us. Here though is one that does. Were there any others?
