Noss to Reiss. 7th December 2014.

I was torn between staying  in bed and going out walking. The forecast was not good with squally showers forecast and a maximum temperature  of only 2 centigrade . I had missed the last walk because of a tooth abscess so thought I had better show my face for this one.

I met up with some of the other Waybaggers and we set off from Staxigoe Hall heading for Noss Head Lighthouse. The weather was not to bad although the wind was bitterly cold, still only 2 centigrade. ( It never rose the whole day ). We had nearly reached Noss lighthouse when the first blast of rain hit us. I had already put on my waterproofs so was quite cosy. We made our way to Sinclair & Girnigoe Castle to get some shelter while we had something to eat and drink.

The high cliffs gradually gave way to the low coastline of Ackergill. The second and final squall of rain greeted us as we walked past Ackergill Tower and on to Reiss.
