Fiag Bridge to Fiag Lodge. 5/6/2011

We left the cars at Fiag Bridge on the A838 10 miles north of Lairg. It is 5 miles to the lodge along the Fiag river with forestry to the right of you all the way. It was a cooler day after the heat of the previous few days. Much better for walking. On the way we saw an eagle circling in the sky. We expected Fiag Lodge to be a ruin but a new building has replaced it. This would be a lovely getaway retreat. We then headed back to the cars after a good day out.
