Dunnet Head. 10th November 2013.

The walk was originally planned for the previous Sunday, but because of the bad weather on that day it was abandoned.

Sunday the 10th was a complete contrast. Although it was cold to start with when we left Dunnet Head lighthouse to walk back to Dwarick pier the day improved as we walked along. The sun came out and it was even quite warm when we stopped for lunch in a sheltered dip in the ground. Under a beautiful blue sky and clear conditions we could see Ben Hope away to the west, Morven to the south  and Duncansbay Head to the east.

It was worth waiting another week to walk along part of this beautiful headland
