We have connections to Forsons through marriage to a Skirving. Their name appears on a gravestone at Melrose Abbey See MELROSE and there is a similar gravestone at Dryburgh Abbey, not that far away. This one notes : Here Lies the dust of William, son of Z. Forson Born at Holydeanmill 1751 died at Dryburgh Their sons who died in 1808 Christian Mitchell, Wife of the above W. Forson And their daughter C. [Billion Graves].
