EDWARD GRAHAM WATSON : Graham (Babe)
Edward Graham Watson was born in East London (SA) on the 20th June 1921, He married Elise Mary Kockett (b Butterworth 2/4/1928) in East London on the 25th June 1949.
They had three daughters.
Graham was the youngest of the five sons born to Maud and Alexander Watson.
Much of his story is already covered under the sections on WATSON ALEXANDER and WATSON MAUD as well as WAR AND OUR FAMILY so I will not repeat that.
Graham as he became known was born on the 20th June 1921. Being the youngest, his friends called him Babe and that stuck all his life.
He signed up with the Kaffrarian Rifles alongside Brian, but was to spend some time as a prisoner of war in Italy.
Much of his career was with Shell. This took him to different cities and the family was to move from East London to Westville and then Rondebosch.
Graham died on the 29th June 2002.
