The carefree, colourful and merry atmosphere of the Red Machine fans, stadium and their team approach to the game made the Mets' followers blue in a glorious night full of panache and flamboyance!
20 July 2008
Cincinnati Reds   7   NY Mets   2

Not a cloud was in the sky as big as a man's hand in the blue firmament of Cincinnati last night as the Reds put pay to the daring of the Mets declaration of hostility as David Wright threatened to ignite the Reds' patch with his dazzling display of prowess as he went over the fence in the fourth inning. Indeed, Mets' winning has lost its impetus and I feel it has begun to get a bit thin on the field of playing for they have been beaten twice by the Read Machine since they climbed to the top of the greasy pole ten times without slipping off in a two weeks spell. It was certainly an achievement worthy of adulation; nevertheless, there is only one way to remedy the lost of form and that is going back to amend a broken focus since the believe is the main reason for achievers to reach their goals as their focus ought to be on the finished results. Final score: Reds   7    Mets   2
