Joseph Christian won the Waterside Tennis Tournament at South Norwood Park after defeating Yamila Gonzalez 6 - 2, 6 - 3 in the final. J.C. has come a long way since he first came to the club in 2016; his coach put down his sudden rise to the top to his discipline and hard work on the tennis court. Allegra also experienced success in the under 8 categories as she defeated Faith 6 - 0, 6 - 2. Allegra's coach has great hopes of her becoming a champion in the time to come as he believes Allegra have a natural talent for the game of tennis; best of luck to her. Others competitors, Zora, Ayesha, Habiba, Vivian, Nathan & Joel, show great enthusiasm for the game and it is hoped they will carry on with their choosing sport far beyond their present standard.
