The All star-star annual get together between the American and National Leagues' players took place last night in New York, at Yankee Stadium to be precise, and its historical prestige is still undisputed since it produced a classic encounter which responded to the expectation of the occasion. Indeed, the quality of baseball played on the field of playing last night was a reflection of that prestige as the game extended to 15 innings. In the end the American League squad stretched their winning total to twelve which is by no means a sign of superiority. Justin Morneau of the Minnesota Twins scored the winning run off a walk-off-sac fly off the bat of Michael Young. Final score NL  3   AL   4.
