Carlos Tatis and Carlos Delgado sent Mets' fans into a frenzy with homers in the first and fourth innings as both hits lit up the New York sky well above Shea Stadium last night as the Mets reduced the Giants to lilliputians to deservedly take the spoils of the aftermatch. Mike Pelfrey stepped up his performance on the mound by conceding no runs in seven frames and  punched out five batters to collect the win. The final score was 7 - 0 to the hosts.
