No one in the Mets' camp wants a day off when king Pedro pitches!

In the bright summer's air of Citizen's Bank Park, in Philadelphia, last night, King Pedro Martinez slammed the door on Phillies' feet, "yeoww", and smashed it on their noses, "yeargh",as he banished his demons with a performance good enough to claim the win and save his head. Indeed, minor blips, gremlins, mishaps and misunderstandings all rolled off the Mets' back last night like water from the proverbial drake as they dimmed the Philadelphia sky with an enduring epic display which produced a victory over the Phillies worthy of attention at the Phillies' tenement in Citizen's Bank Park.
