Mike Pelfrey was so good at keeping in his emotions at the Cardinals' nest on Thursday night that he seemed to revel in the role of executioner. All things considered the Mets were happy enough to take the win away and into the fresh air in route to Citizen's Park to play the Phillies the next day.
