Spain finally exorcised the ghost that plagued their performances in major championships since 1964 when they defeated Germany in the final of Euro 2008 Football Championship last night in Vienna 1 - 0. Fernando Torres was the man who scored the only goal of the match which gave Spain a deserved triumph.
