Is Johan Santana the man?

There is no much sense in doing a lot of barking if one does not really have anything to say and there is no need to hang around waiting for scraps when there is not a bone to pick with someone but a tittle-tattle is a gossip which often carries a pregnant pause. Charming to a fault, Johan Santana might have other torches to shine along his chosen path but so far he has fallen short in his quest for conquering the faithful loyalist at Shea Stadium in New York. It is not a rumour nor a gossip but a proven fact that he has pitched supremely confidently in the past but so far this season he has not been able to produce the form that most Mets' fan expect from him. It is now becoming clear that Johan not only needs to perform well but he needs to start winning games and all that jazz or else move on. Nevertheless, this season's tale has not been fully told and the drama has still to be played out; I believe that there is an unfinished chapter in Johan Santana's history book to be written for he is a phenomenal talent with a natural ability for evoking emotions, enlightenment and entertainment. The man is a winner and one cannot fault his record.
