The acquisition of Santana as a proven product has prompted many people to believe that The Mets mean business this season; nevertheless, it  has not officially ended the nurturing of young talents for the future at The Mets' camp during spring training since there is plenty of scope in the team for new blood and plenty to play for in warm-up games. Indeed, catching up the next wave in New York will not be an issue with Johan Santana since he thrives on challenges and often carries the right key to dealing with pressure. Certainly, my compatriot will be the man to watch this season and I wish him the very best in his quest for greatness and once more get hold of the covetous award for throwers in Major League Baseball, The Cy Young trophy. However, there is no time to lose as he needs to establish himself in The Mets' pitching rotation as soon as possible for the team has a huge pool of throwers with a wealth of experience and expertise in Major League Baseball. Pedro Martinez comes to mind, he is a wizard and sure opener but there again, he has been with The Mets for quite sometime now.
