There is no use attempting to accomplish something without the necessary preconditions.

It is the bottom of the ninth and the government and the rest of the circus are still in a limbo about Europe and the electorate's wishes. All the same, hesitancy seems to be seated on people's mind since there isn't appear to be a clear indication that a solution to the European issue is high on their list of priorities. All in all, nevertheless, I find it tiresome that intelligent people can remain blind to the advantages of closer union with Europe since it offers this country the greatest chance of peace and prosperity for the years ahead. Those who call for a referendum on our partnership with Europe do not realise what is going on in the global market these days. Perhaps, it is a hard pill to swallow but the British Isles cannot exist on their own while globalization gathers pace, and it is simply irrational to suggest otherwise. There is no worth in doing something which has no sense since outside Europe this country will not be in a position to resist further moves by superpowers to mark out the destiny of this nation. Personally, I would rather be an European than a subsidiary of an extremely power nation. Indeed, rectitude is difficult to come by these days since one can never be sure who is telling the truth but it pains me to stand helplessly by while some politicians drivel in the faces of the ordinary hardworking men and women of this country. Make no mistake about it, there are many more knocks in store for us all before we find our feet in Europe for we are not anywhere near in finding a driving force and the rationality which would help us to be steered in the right direction for a call for a referendum on our partnership with Europe would be an issue, in my opinion, fraught with far-reaching consequences if we were to get it wrong. Politicians, I am at the end of my tether, they seem to be caught in an artificial world of priggishness and detached from the electorate's main concerns which are the economy and domestic issues. Yeah! They are more often than not inclined to aloofness, in my view, and totally beyond anchoring-ground and as it goes I have not got much time for their discordant nonsense approach to politics and all that jazz and I would very much like to ask them to wipe that self-satisfied smirk off their faces for many is the time when their wisdom have left many of us in inconvenience and, one more thing, they are all just like Santa Claus no-one believes in them any more.
