You are listening but you are not hearing.

Get up and go and make fruitful use of your leisure time.
I despair of people who watch television every evening and those armchair football/baseball supporters who most certainly love football/baseball but don't play the games themselves. Indeed, the issue of leisure time must be addressed promptly since there is a huge number of people who don't know what to do with it and as the working hours become shorter one might find that one has more time on one's hands than one needs for flabbiness. Certainly, the notion of people having lashings of free times seems a fabulous one for in the past one's forefathers used to spend so much time at work earning their living or rearing their young that there was very little of it left to do anything else. However, there are so many people these days poorly equipped to make productive use of their recreational time - even though some of them are highly educated and executive decision makers with direct influence in what is going on in the country- owing to, perhaps, poor motivation, education, social issues or simply because they live in areas where there are inadequate recreational facilities; indeed, it is an issue that has prompted one to be concerned with the health of the nacion. Positively, the former issue (the building of recreational facilities) ought to be a number one priority since the lack of them might be conducive to the rise of vandalism and hooliganism in those areas. Evening classes exist over the length and breath of the nation and enlisting in one of those classes would be a nice way to get up of one's armchair and feel better about oneself. Leisure time is a great conception but it is no use in having it if one wastes it.
