Happy New Year!

Happy new year to everyone! I hope that your 2008, is as fun and exciting as mine is shaping up to be. My new year's resolution is to sort my life out and give the environment and the world I live in and the people I share it with more thought, and provide relevant material to encourage everyone to stop and think about things that perhaps they have not given much thought to before.

Indeed, how does one tell a civilised nation that the path that it has chosen it might not be the most appropriate one? Certainly, there is still time to learn to care for the world and its environment since we all need to find a new way of living. Questions like: what would you do if you knew that today you could make it to be your first day of your life and not your last?  Why do you feed your body so while slaughtering your mind with worries about overeating? So where was God when my mother died on Christmas day, which is an interested thought or did he made it happen or did it just happen? All of these questions come to mind from time to time and I want to take control of my life. Money, I have not got enough of it and I ask myself who's fault is it. Mine, perhaps! However, it is possible to look on the bright side of life and go out in style even if one were to learn that tomorrow would be one's last day on Earth. I say! I say! Don't waste your life for goodness' sake! Optimism! I have a tendency of taking the most hopeful view in life but to be optimistic in what one may be tempted to call the true sense, certainly the original sense, is to hold a generally cheerful and ruddy view of the world or at the very least possess a blithe temperament. Indeed, any fool can organise a conspiracy but he must have to know a lot and, of course, work hard and deviously to orchestrate one. It is simply irrational to suggest otherwise since dependence on eccentricities to attract media attention does not ensure one's success in life. For all that, I stand somewhat apart from all this but I remain reluctant to become involved in matters of self search since at time, I seem temperamentally incapable of responding adequately to deep kinds of emotion as all my life I have searched for an answer to the creation of the universe and everyday I feel more distant from my quest. Nevertheless, this is not a loss of faith or a capricious idea, in which the world seems to be littered with at this instance, for, with no valid reason to give, I am convinced that there is a God which in terms is a more comprehensive view of extreme methods of reasoning and a better force for good in the world than the commonest confusion to which, on a great scale, many people in the world are prey to.  I am in a middle of a chain reaction while picking the pieces of my life with a desire to get things done right, with confidence in my skills and the ability to keep learning new ones for I am a goal-oriented person and I take pride in group achievement over personal aggrandicement for the good of the world as a whole. I am a baseball coach.
