Jose Altuve 2014 batting champion of the American League!

Jose Altuve, Houston Astros second basement, became the fifth venezuelan to clinch a batting tittle in Major League Baseball with a batting average of .341 and he is the fouth venezuelan to reach 200 hits or more in a season. Fellow countryman, Victor Martinez of the Detroit Tigers was second with a batting average of .335. Jose Altuve also led the department bases stolen with 56, and he is the third venezuelan to reach 50 or more stolen of bases in a MLB season.
