Scott Boras' client is having second thoughts about leaving the fort.
Frankly, it was not in my mind's eye to speculate about Alex's mind changing but since it was in the papers I am making no claim to any old tripe. Indeed, it has been reported that Alex Rodriguez had words with ex-employers, the New York Yankees, about exploring the possibility of him having his old job back. Indeed, it is certainly easy said than done since Alex's agent, Scott Boras, is ostensibly asking for 350 million dollars contract to the New Yorkers for his player services. However, it has been said that the proprietors of the New York Yankees are not prepared to meet Boras' demand since they are no longer interested in pursuing Boras' client. It all seems a lot of empty talk to me since there isn't appear to be much wisdom in what has been written in the papers. We shall wait and see! Watch this space!
