The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League attracts the cream of the cream in terms of Major League Ball Players. I learned to play the game and played my best baseball in Venezuela and I can tell you something for nothing: "Baseball fans in Venezuela are the best in the world," but you don't have to take my word for it, come and see it for yourself, I can assure you that the Venezuelan people will be more than pleased to accomodate you in their country. The league started in 1945 and it has produced the finest ball players ever seen in Major League Baseball. People like Alejandro "Chico" Carrasquel, Luis Aparicio, David Concepcion and many more have contributed to the enhancement of this league and the new generation of players have follow suit. There are over a 100 Venezuelan players playing Major League Baseball and they are the best representatives of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League since they are its best product so far.
