Ramos' appointment made quite as much noise on this side of the puddle as the other side of "La Manche".

Juan de Ramos is not super intelligent nor super perceptive nor super anything else except super confident and a winner. Those are in my book the qualifications a good coach requires to do a job at White Heart Lane or anywhere else in the world. Indeed, the how-to-do-it always comes to the person who believes he can do it; albeit, Juan de Ramos' team is not currently in pole position and it is not doing very well in the English Premier League if anybody can help Tottenham from its current predicament Juan is the best man to be chosen. His coaching staff and himself, for that matter, I am sure, will be head over ears in work to turn things round at White Heart Lane. Nevertheless, he has set the ball rolling last night by winning at home in the Carling Cup all he needs now is to go with the stream, swim with the tide and carry on winning. There was something else I wanted to add to my comments and it is the Robbie Keane's courage and unrelenting determination which he has put for his team on the pitch, and his contribution reflects  my commenting about it since he has scored 24 times in 32 appearances this season. While I make a wish for the best at White Heart Lane I wish Juan de Ramos well, too. Buena suerte, hombre.
