Joe Girardi has been offered The Yankees manager's position.

Most Yankees' fans are naturally at a loss as to how to make sense of it all since the manager's position is not the only issue that beset their beleaguered team.  A more tangible fact is the leaving of Alex Rodriguez and his reasoning for doing so.  The truth of what has been expressed by many may be easily ascertained by reference to the departure of Joe Torres which Rod does not seem to confirm nor deny. Whatever may had been the reason the Yankees' owner cannot be exempt from all fault even though the slightest imputation of any description is not good enough reason to attribute any responsibility to him since it was Joe Torres who did not wish to accept a year's contract with performances' bonus and all that jazz.
