London is looking forward to receive the world with open arms in 2012. There is no doubt that its fabulous wealth of history, old and modern architecture will be extremely appealing to the visitors' senses. Indeed, London 2012 Olympic games' organizers have done a bang-up job getting the old city warm up for the army of foreign participants and visitors who will descend on its hospitality during their stay next summer. The games promise to be a great entertainment for all, not only on the field of playing but out in the streets of the old city where procession of people in elaborate costumes and outdoor performances of historical scenes will take place. Certainly, London has a definite signature that stands out from the rest of the world as it has the resources and capacity to meet any challenge which might arise. I must be said that the organizers deserve a lot of credit for carrying out their stated intentions of bringing the games to London for the first time in 64 years. Many people will have much farther to travel to London than me and others, I am sure, will just be extremely pleased to watch the games on television and visual technology which will ensure that the highs and lows of the sporting events and entertainment reach every corner of the world.

While, preparation and persistence are fundamental issues in obtaining a sportsman's desire results, integrity is candour and sovereign to everything else since honesty and straightforwardness are of paramount importance in sport. Success does not just happen, one makes it happen; but energy, time, focus, plenty of horse sense and determination to succeed are the prices a good athlete pays for the quest of greatness; on the other hand, however, deception has no place in the olympic olympic community and it will not be allow to gain mastery over integrity and fairness.
