We must weather the weather whatever the weather without allowing it to become a tempest!
07 December 2011
He who is consciously unwise is rarely other wise!

I have elected to shout since the well-being of the have not has been a concern of mine for many years as my dream has always been to bring comfort to those who are less fortunate than I. Indeed, many politicians have missed the opportunity to do something worthwhile in Venezuela but I don't believe for a second that they have entertained such an enterprise since they have always been more interested in feathering their own nest than considering the need and expectations of those who helped them to be in a position of power. I have read Fulano's off chest response to Juanbimba's personal opinion and I have come to the conclusion that it is a good thing to be able to express one's view without the fear of being gagged for doing so. Moreover, freedom of speech must never be allowed to be hijacked by the desire of few.  My father was one of the pioneer of the democracy in Venezuela, which it has duly enjoyed since 1958, and I, as young man, defended it and supported the freedom of speech in abundance to its boundary.  Albeit, I have lived in the united Kingdom for many, many years I still support the principles of democracy to their foundations in the motherland for I believe that the human rights are the more sacred part of an individual inner soul and must never be allowed to be violated. Certainly, I have been away for quite sometime from my country and I have to admit that I don't know at first hand what is going on in it, and perhaps, I am a sinner for having had to live abroad for that long but I cannot judge others without concrete evidence. Indeed, I am fully aware that many people are not fond of President Chavez but I like his ideas and ambitions for I have always supported the cause of the underdog as I am a storyteller who still believe in the romanticism of a free world where the hero takes from the rich to give to the poor. Robin Hood and William Tell come to mind. However, my shout would be a call to the wild if progress is not made sooner rather than later in Venezuela since things appear to be far from better in this country of ours. Nevertheless, I believe the solution to this immediate situation of the economy and its crisis is to put aside our differences as people and find a compromise that would lift us up to a different philosophy of democracy.

"Creo que mi gloria ha llegado a su colmo, viendo a mi patria libre, constituida y tranquila, al separarme yo de sus gloriosas riberas".

"He who does not demand much of himself because he is always stuck in second gear and  dare not face pain without fear will achieve very little in life and will never ride on the train of glory. Indeed, one must always strive to improve oneself since failure is the price to pay if one does not hone one's tools of intelligence. One ought to be persistent in the pursuit of one's dreams for commitment amounts to primacy while learning is the gain that will make you a supreme being"
