A cheerless sky and banks of theatening clouds intimating a hostile environment set in for the day. Indeed, in winter, darkness sets in so early in this kingdom with ice and snow at a time. Cold at the top and bottom, jackets zipped up tight, wind whipping away at your old baseball titfer, lightning flashes, thunder booms and the rain pours down: it’s not the idyllic baseball weather one would wish for, but sometimes one has to defy the elements to enjoy a ballgame in this Kingdom. It happens all of the time, mountains and valleys, rocks tumbling and crashing down producing a landslide while canyons develop, deep, dark  caves arise and shrinking mountains on top of the world come to light. Endless grass, forests grow where there is plenty of rain while deserts and seas of sand come forth where there ain´t.
