The New York Yankees are undoubtedly the symbol of the greatest baseball league in the world. They have won all there is to win in baseball. 1923 saw them lifting their first championship and most recently, 1996,1998,1999,2000 saw them being crowned world champions. There have been so many good players that played for this storied team ( The N.Y. Yankees ) that it would take me a century, a night and a day, and thereafter forever and ever to mention them all but there is one thing I am sure of and that is that the world had, at one time or another in its existence, heard the name of the Yankees and what they represent.
