A whirlwind immerse me in his blustery rage and borne me to the earth's farthest corner as I was hit with a cudgel out of the park for a run. I was called rounders in England, baseball in Wales and North America, pelota in Mexico, Cuba , Puerto Rico, Venezuela and 野球 (やきゅう or yakyū in Japan and 中国棒球联赛 in China. I was never bowled on the stump or delivered in the wicketkeeper's hands but pitched in the catcher's mit. Who am I? Baseball is who I am.
