Santanta´s range of hurlings were all at his fingers' ends last night at Citi Field as he dexteriously subdued the Chicago Cubs as they were out of their guards. Albeit, the Mets´ace allowed eight hits and two runs in 6 and 3/4 innings while striken out five batters it must be said that the Cubs´effort was not a good one since it produced an unprofited return as they left too many runners on bases. Final score, New York Mets 5 Chicago Cubs 2.
