Santana was onto a good thing on opening day last night at Citi Field as he handed the Marlins a timely reminder of his talent on the mound. Indeed, Johan Santana utterly disarmed Marlins' artillery as he allowed them a mere four hits for one run in six frames while striking out five batters. David Wright's two run homer was an excellent contribution to the score and it was also well appreciated by a full house.  Final score:  Mets 7 Marlins 1.
