Attitudes that build winners in baseball!
It is a fact that winners respect their coaches and the coaching process used by them to yield winners in baseball. Indeed, winners are aware that coaching is an important step in their development and progress as athletes. Therefore, they must be receptive to their coaching advice and follow it to completion. Furthermore, winners know that mental toughness is a big factor in taking in advice from their coaches as it is very important to be a good listener in order to succeed. Also winners know that at times there will be strong criticism from many quarters and accept and deal with them without falling apart when the going gets tough. Certainly, winners believe in their own ability to perform at the level of expectancy and they accept people at face value as they realise that mutual trust is a major factor in building team morale and unity. Moreover, trusting athletes communicate and corporate better with their team mates and coaches when a trusting relationship is present.  However, self-confidence in their own abilities and the skill of acting decisively are very important factors in success when applied on the field of playing as new challenges will arise without the benefit of warnings and they must be ready to meet and handle unexpected situations promptly as they occur. Indeed, winners tend to enjoy the role of leader and when leadership is required they immediately step forward and take charge for they are dynamic people who like to influence others and take control of the situations. Are you a winner?
