The Philadelphia Phillies embarked on a meaningful journey at Citizens Bank Park last night as they defeated Los Angeles Dodgers to clinch the 2009 National League Pennant. Indeed, Wednesday became a night of celebration at the ball park for all concerned as they enjoyed their making of their second trip to the World Series in succession and their seventh in their 127-year history. I am a Mets supporter but I most sincerely wish the very best luck to them all.
