A running battle of words failed to halt America's style as Cuba was defeated by the old foe in the final game of the 2009 Baseball World Cup. Indeed, the chips were on the table for Team Cuba to avenge the loss they suffered at the hands of Team USA in 2007 Baseball World Final in Tianmu - Taipei but they were defeated once more by the efficiency and passion of the Americans. Certainly, from the Americans' point of view this was a perfect result as they could have imagined as they managed to get the better of the opening hurler and penetrated the fog of Cuba Team to force a tame surrender. Final score: USA 10 Cuba 5.
