At a time when most people are consumed by economic apprehensions it would do no harm to look at Venezuela co-operative system!

Chavez offers relief for the economic pain-filled many
It seems a long time ago when I left my homeland for the United Kingdom but in the expansive stretch of time which takes one to fly over the massive Atlantic Ocean, really in solace, I am still only ten hours away from it. Certainly, my reason for settling in this part of the world was not an economic penury but an educational compulsion. Nevertheless, it must be said that the senselessness and emptiness of my existence in a political system which was clinically indefinable then helped me make my mind up to go overseas in search of fresh fields of thinking where I could invest my time and energy in order to fulfil my literature ambitions. Indeed, I wandered around for years in the forest of the unknown in my quest for knowledge and enlightenment and in doing so I more than once got lost in the esoteric territory and yet somehow I managed to find my way out of the woodland while many unknown people watched but did very little to help. I have never been inclined to be a politician but I must confess that I have felt that the present administration of President Hugo Chavez Frias has done an excellent work ever since he came to power by the means of universal suffrage as he has genuinely identified himself with the plight of the have not by devoting time and energy to solve the indigence in which his people were going through under the seed of past administrations which traditionally catered for the elite and privileged ones. Indeed, inky fingers and skilled reporters have taken time in writing about Hugo Chavez's idiosyncrasy in recent times but the more they try to find faults with his style of government the more popular he is with the millions of Venezuelan nationals who simply adore him. As my good friend Rodolfo Rodriguez put it in one of his letters to me: "There is an awful lot to do yet but the revolution will in time deliver what it promised to the electorate," which is the best news I have heard for some time for it has emboldened my interest totally and captivated the attention of many.
