Bracknell Blazers were crowned British National Champions at the weekend when they defeated Richmond Flames in the grand final. Final score: Blazers  17  Flames  4.  David Ward, Croydon Pirates' General Manager, was mighty pleased with his contribution to the successful event which took place at the weekend at the Croydon Pirates den even though his own team was not a participant for the first time in four years.
