Despite all the fun the New York Mets have travelling, there really is no place like home. Indeed, Citi Field's 40,000 capacity was sold out for the first game of a double-header as Jerry Manuel named Santana as the opening hurler for the Mets. In fact, 37,000 tickets were snapped up in the early hours of thursday morning which gave an indication of the support that the Mets can muster at home games. The game was perfectly styled for Santana's arm as he conceded the visitors a mere four hits for no runs while striking out eight batters in seven frames.
