Last night was a rainout!

As the Sun faded away a pale sky began to appear over the New York City skyline at dinner time and very soon a sudden deep resonant sound in the distance intimated an impending downpour which soon after introduced itself in the form of light rain which promptly developed into a torrential cloudburst. We waited out the rainout to dissipate to no avail as it did not cease to rain all night long. Postponement became then the order of the day as the game between Colorado Rockies and New York Mets had to be put off to a later date owing to the washout. In fact a double header has been agreed for today to be played at Citi Field with the first match starting at noon and the second one at night.
