Sorting the yolk from the white in a scrambled eggs' hotchpotch ain't easy as Mike Pelfrey found out last night in Washington when his fine performance on the mound for the Mets did not produced the hoped outcome. Indeed, Pelfrey's dazzling show had little support from his team mates as they struggled to yield four hits and a solely single run in the whole of the game. On the other hand, the Nationals took their chances well when they came along and things really took off for them in the fourth inning when Nats' right-fielder, Josh Willingham, hit a gargantuan two-run homer off  Mike Pelfrey to the furthest part of the bleachers to put the game to bed for the hosts. Nevertheless, it was really the brilliancy of Craig Stammen on the mound for the Nats that won the game for the home team. Final score: Nationals 3  Mets 1.
