Mets current plight is really all their own doing since the players have failed the reading fluency of the game whenever a test has been put to them to measure their performance on the field of playing. Indeed, there are lessons to be learnt as there is a need for self-belief to be restored in order to compete with decisiveness otherwise Mets' season might as well be over. Certainly, there was a full house roaring Mets to victory last night at Citi Field but unfortunately they did not give a full account of themselves during the game and they were swept by the Dodgers in their own ground as the visitors' opening hurler, Randy Wolf, limited the hosts to a mere seven hits and two runs while fanning three batters in six frames. Manny Ramirez and Orlando Hudson contribution to the cause of the Dodgers was an edge as the former yielded two RBIs home and the latter produced a double with the bases loaded in the very first inning off Mets' opening pitcher Livan Hernandez to bring three runs home. Final score: Dodgers 11   Mets  2.
