Mets felt Rays' force again under heavy rain at Citi Field yesterday afternoon as Rays' centre-fielder B.J. Upton had a dream afternoon with the bat when he went 4 for 6 against Mets' tossers. He yielded a two-run homer, four RBIs and he reached home plate three times. Nonetheless, it is fair to say that Brian Schneider's contribution with the bat - for the Mets - was a decent one as he produced a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth frame to put the Mets temporarily ahead while Mike Pelfrey's time on the mound can be described as a fairly good one since he allowed the visitors eight hits and four runs while striking out four batters in five innings. Nevertheless, Mets' bullpen - once more - let the gate open and the Rays had a field day.
