Mets have not been able to shake off the old birds off their back as they have lost twice on the trot to the Orioles in this Inter league series. Indeed, Mets' fans are infuriated by their team recent two outings and Jerry Manuel's tactics and excuses as they think that he is often trotting out exhaustible apologies for losing games. It has been said that one would find more fun in a wake than watching the Mets these days playing baseball. Having said that it must be said that opening hurler, Livan Hernandez, did a heck of job on the mound last night as he conceded two runs and eight hits in seven innings, and in all honesty, most people thought that this game ought to have been won by the Mets had ace reliever, Francisco Rodriguez done a better job in the bottom of the ninth. Final score: Orioles   5    Mets 4.
