It was about time and all that the Mets' heavy artillery had a field day. Indeed, Carlos Beltran, David Wright and Ryan Church provided the ammunitions to break the sinews of the visitors with homers and RBIs. However, the Phillies proved to be a hard nut to break as Ryan Howard, Raul Ibanez, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins threatened to set Citi Field on fire last night as they ignited the sky with homers off Santanas fast throwings. Nevertheless, it was in contempt of question that in his heart of passion Santana wanted to win this game as he produced an RBI double to tie the score in the sixth inning. Mets scored twice more to put the game beyond the Phillies and Santanas' eighth win of the season. Final score:  Mets  6   Phillies   5.
