Tim Redding read the script brilliantly last night at Nationals Park in Washington as he conceded six hits and one run in six innings. However, it was David Wright who stepped on the gas at the top of the tenth inning when he brought home two team mates with a double which was enough to put the game to bed for the Mets. Reliever Hurler, Francisco Rodriguez, tossed the last inning of the game which got him his 15th saves in 15 outings. Final score: Mets 3 Nationals 1.P.
