The talented Johan Santana has reasons for being displeased since his efforts on the mound are failing to secure the backing of his team mates. He seems to be pitching on a wing and a prayer these days as the Mets' artillery appears to go silent whenever he is hurling. Indeed, it was the same old story last night as Santana's endeavour was not rewarded as the Mets' defence was also in court after failing to support their ace.
